A Saturday night in Claire's living room
In late 2025, Claire found a Pinterest post about making homemade sugar scrubs. She was curious enough to try it — and social enough to turn it into an excuse to have friends over.
She invited four of her closest friends to her living room on a Saturday evening. They opened a bottle of wine, spread the ingredients out on the coffee table, and spent a couple of hours mixing, experimenting, and arguing (nicely) about which scents they liked best.
At some point during the evening, one friend held up her finished jar, took a slow smell, and said quietly: "This reminds me of home."
Nobody had planned for it to go that deep. But that's what happens when you slow down, put something in your hands, and sit with people you love.
Five weeks later, Claire did it again. Two more friends, different scents, different memories — but the same feeling at the end of the night. That's when it clicked. This shouldn't stay in her living room.
Chickada's Make Your Own Scrub events exist because of that Saturday night — because Claire wanted other women to have what she and her friends found: a real evening out, something to make, something to take home, and people worth spending a few hours with.

Yes — and yes. Group bookings of 4+ are seated together at one table. Just buy your tickets in the same checkout, or email us if you want us to hold spots while your friends pay.

Yes — Sip-In events are 21+. One drink is included (alcoholic or not). Photo ID at check-in.
Tickets aren't refundable but they're fully transferable up to 48 hours before. Email hello@chickadascrubs.com and we'll move your spot to a friend.
